Nail stamping - a beginner's mess

At the beginning of the year I got a nail stamping set from Konad (although when I got it on Amazon it was only £28) because I love nail varnish and a bundle of stamping plates by bundle monster.

I played about with it a bit but soon became too busy to think about things like doing my nails - got married, got pregnant etc., but last night I decided it was time to try them out again. All I can say if that practice will make perfect.

The process of stamping looks and sounds more fiddly that it actually is, but perfecting the art of getting the nail varnish from the stamp, to the applicator and onto your finger will take time.

Simply put all you have to do is paint an engraved plate with nail polish, scrape off the excess polish, pick it up on an applicator and then apply to the nail.

As you can see am not an expert but I think I will get the hang of it. What I find hard is judging where to place the applicator onto the finger to ensure the stamp fits the nail - I took a picture of this hand as the other was a disaster.

Think I may have found what will keep me occupied when I start my maternity leave and wait for baby to arrive!
