My new best friend (almost)

Up until a month ago if you had asked me to describe what heartburn and indigestion felt like I would have looked at you as if you had asked me to describe an alien that was standing next to me. Now if you ask me I would describe it as "misery".

For a few weeks I could not understand what the lump in my throat was but after a quick search on Google I found my answer. I then popped off to get some indigestion tablets, certain they would hold the cure and I would be back to feeling normal again. Nope; they did nothing.

So another Google search and I found there are a couple of different types of tablet so off I popped to the shops again and this time I think I may have found something that eases, but does not cure, the pain.

This could not come soon enough - at 4 a.m. this morning I was hugging the toilet as the heartburn caused me to evacuate my stomach contents.

I am so fed up waking in the middle of the night feeling like something has stabbed my throat so hopefully this will work until the baby comes and, fingers crossed, my heartburn goes.

Only four weeks to go now!
