How did you find out?

I am writing this post as people mentioned their experiences on Netmums.

Me and my hubby-to-be (hubby now) knew that we wanted to have kids and so with only a few weeks to go until we got married we thought we would be safe enough to start trying and so we did... once.

The following day I felt slightly sick. The days following that I started to get more weird and wonderful symptoms, from pregnancy pains to dry skin, so I just "knew".

The following two weeks dragged on. No because I was wondering am or? or aren't I? but because I knew but just wanted it to be confirmed. In those two weeks I did not say anything to my hubby in case I was wrong and got his hopes up.

It was then time to take a test. At this stage I knew I didn't really need to but hubby told me to. So I did my duty. I didn't even feel I needed to wait and see the result and, as predicted, it was pregnant.

I remember hubby's face when I told him he was going to be a daddy and that excitement has just grown and grown with each day. Now, at 38 weeks, we are both so excited to meet Bumble.
