A moment captured forever

For months I have been saying that we should print out pictures of Molly as we have thousands of pictures but they all live in the computer. At 11 months old it is about time we had more pictures up on the wall.

Everyday I have my camera sat ready to take pictures of Molly, recording her growth and development, and we did print off a number of pictures a few months ago but so much has changed with Molly since then that I was planning on printing off some more.

At Christmas I was told I had a present from Molly that would not be ready in time to be opened on Christmas day so a couple of days after I finally got to see what it was and I absolutely love it.

I got a wonderful Canvas print of a picture I took of Molly in November. Now most people have pictures of beautiful posed smiling sweetly pictures of their children but this picture is one of my favourite ever pictures and makes me and my hubby smile every time we look at it. Even Molly loves it as it is above the dining table and she always smiles and says "hiya" to it.

The original picture was a quick shot when I was playing with Molly. Right place at the right time. It was on our compact camera and we didn't adjust anything so it is by no means a professional picture but it looks great. It is also huge! I think it would be 60cm by 60cm. As I type this I can't help but smile at the picture. I am so glad my hubby decided on getting this picture printed.
