One year on... Happy birthday darling

So it has been and gone, my baby is no longer a baby and is now a one year old! Happy birthday darling!

On February 3, 2014, at 5.50 am we welcomed our little girl into the world. Our first born. Little did we know just how fantastic the next year was going to be.

On Tuesday we celebrated her first birthday. I could not sleep the night before, thinking about what we had been doing at that time the year before (not very much as the hormone drip failed to work). Then at 5.50 am I got out of bed and went through to say happy birthday to Molly, amazed at just how brilliant she has turned out.

We did not have a party but our friend and her son came over and we headed off the the local bookbug before heading over to our local soft play centre.

She was spoiled rotten by her friends and family and had a great day.

How is it possible that my baby is now one year old? Seriously? She is the most perfect little girl (yep I am still amazed she is a girl after going through a pregnancy thinking she was a boy).

Everything she was given have been played with. She loved each toy and has spend a great deal of time playing with each item. We love that she has more bath toys too as she is such a water lover - nothing is a funny as getting a cup of water thrown over you face don't you know - so now she has some bigger toys to play with as well as her Bathtime Buddies Squirting Ducks  that she also loves and plays with in and out of the bath.

I now look forward to the next year to see how much more she develops and to see how her personality enhances.
