19 week pregnancy update

Button is the size of a beef tomato

How is it possible that I am once again writing a pregnancy update? It feels like just five minutes ago I was writing my 18 week update but here I am writing up the 19 week post.

What vegetable are you?

Last week Button was a sweet potato and now is a beef tomato.

Do I feel pregnant?

Quite honestly I don't. I feel normal really. I have been feeling a lot more kicks in the last few days but other than that I am still forgetting that I am pregnant.

How big is bump?

I can still wear non-pregnancy clothing but I wearing a pair of maternity jeans at the moment. This is mostly because I was running out of clean jeans after all the dog walks in wet weather we have been on lately.

I have popped out a bit and I do look pregnant but I think you could be forgiven for thinking I am just fat (I am fat).

Swelling?

Not really had any swelling this week really, One night I did have swollen fingers from the heat but I am still fitting into my wedding rings so I am happy.

Symptoms?

My boobs are STILL hurting. I feel I might be writing this until the day I pop.

I have had a lot of round ligament pain if I stand up too quickly.

There have been a few times that I have felt faint.

Baby update

At 19 weeks  you are now the size of a beef tomato. Lengthwise you are 15 cm, half a ruler and a centimeter bigger than last week.

This week Button has grown a covering of vernix caseosa, a white coating of the body that protect its skin from the surrounding amniotic fluid.

Many of buttons senses are developing as specialised areas of the brain. Talking of the brain, millions of motor neurons are continuing to develop to allow more controlled and conscious movement.

  1. that was really a good article, this will be helpful since most women need guidance in the earlier stage of pregnancy.
