Second time mum wondering what labour might feel like

Will I know what labour feels like?

As many people know I never laboured with M. They tried to induce me but my body refused to do what the drip in my hand was trying to encourage it to do.

The only way I knew I was ready to have a baby was my waters going, in quite dramatic style, several times in the early hours of the morning. After that... nothing.

When I was induced I remember looking at the monitor and seeing something that randomly went up to 100 every 5 minutes or so. A few times I thought I had trapped wind. On a few occasions the midwife held my tummy and asked did I feel that - did I feel what???? I later found out that the 100 was the top scale of contractions and I can honestly say that i said to my hubby I had trapped wind and had hope the midwife could go so I could try and untrap it lol

Now I am just over 3 weeks away from being 40 weeks pregnant and I worried that I will either get trapped wind and think it is labour starting, or that I will be in labour and just think I have wind! I have never felt any braxton hicks (my stomach is rock solid all day every day and has been since 8 weeks) and when I was on the monitor hitting 100 I did not feel any tightenings at all.

People say that you just know when you are in labour, but do you? How will I know? Will I only know when it is too late? Will I even get into labour this time?
