Easy Christmas tree cards

Simple but effective

Crafting with children is a favourite activity in so many households and this craft is so easy for even the youngest artist.

As I said before me and M had been doing some Christmas painting recently in preparation for making Christmas cards.

This is one of the designs that we made, using triangles of card, paint and fingers.

Supplies:
  • Plain red and green card
  • Green sparkly card
  • Christmas stamp
  • Ink
  • Double sided foam stickers
  • Paint
  • Tippex pen

Method:

Christmas trees
  • Cut traingles out of the sparkly green card to make Christmas trees
  • Make pots of different coloured paints
  • Using fingers dab paint onto the card to make baubles.
  • Let dry
Card
  • Stamp Christmas greet onto plain red or green card
  • Put foam stickers on the back of the tree
  • Stick tree onto card
  • Dab Tippex to create snowflakes

  2. These look really great - and surprisingly tidy for crafting with kids, haha! Great idea to finger paint dots on the trees for decorations, and I love the sparkly card too :) #howtosundays

  3. These are awesome! I love the final detail of tipped snow, it really does make them look extra special. The finger painted trees on glittery card was a great idea, M must be proud of her creations! I think Christmas card making is tomorrow's advent activity too.
