Toddler's Togs

Bringing a bit of summer to a winter's day

Sometimes the best clothing if items gifted by other people, things you might not have even looked at in the shop, and this outfit is definitely one of those.

Dress

Tu at Sainsburys

I love this dress. It came with baby pants which were huge and I doubt would fit M when she was 8 let alone nearly 2 but the dress is wonderful I was worried it might be verging on being small as it was 18-24 months and often dresses can be a little on the short side with M even although she is only on 12-18 month clothing. I need not have worried as this dress is huge and will last for so, so long. I can picture her wearing this when we go on holiday in September and it fitting just fine.

The pattern is watermelons and it is lovely and summery so will be great in the next few months when the weather starts to get nice.

Top

F&F at Tesco

The top was part of a three pack and is age 2-3 and you can tell as it is far too big but being the lazy sod that I am I just couldn't be bothered going back upstairs and searching for something that would fit and match the dress so I just put it on and rolled the sleeves up.

Tights

Unknown

We got these passed down and although they are the wrong shade of green I just fancied something other than pink for tights.

  4. I am a huge fan of the watermelon print so absolutely love this dress! I think we had the leggings from this range last summer! It's so lovely to see a bright pop of colour in this dull month of January. I like that you teamed the dress with the different coloured tights, adds even more interest to the outfit :) Thanks for linking up with us and hope you're having a great weekend! #weekendministyle
