Day 29 - #30DaysWild

Finding Oor Wullie

A couple of days ago Dundee became awash with Oor Wullies, when over 50 Wullie were dotted about the city (and a few placed in close by towns). We started our Oor Wullie bucket Trail today when we found four of the 4ft Oor Wullies that were located in Broughty Ferry.

The first spot was a disaster. M was terrified!

We have done a similar trail a couple of years ago when Aberdeen had dolphins dotted around teh city and I saw a few of the Edinburgh cows from years ago. This time I hope that M will get more excited by them (she had just been swimming so was tired, it was cold and her back molars are bothering her). Indeed by the 4th Oor Wullie that she spotted she seemed much more confident of them.

I really hope we can tick them all off (within reason as there are some touring Scotland that I don't think we will manage to see). It seemed the Tula helped to make her feel more secure and less afraid of the sculptures.

When we spotted our first we came across a lovely garden that I had never heard of before but will be back again when the weather is nicer and we have a picnic.

I can not believe we are almost at the end of #30DaysWild
