Healthy with Heavenly - A review!

With two children who are always hungry it can be a struggle to find enough things to keep their hunger at bay so when we got the opportunity to become brand ambassadors of Heavenly organic foods I jumped at the chance.

My 2 year old has never been a huge pouch fan but when she tried one of the coconut squishes she was hooked almost instantly. The pouch was finished and she quickly asked for more. This is the first time she has been overly keen to have a pouch, ever. Now I can't actually sneak them into my bag without her noticing and wanting one (to the point of asking over and over and over again until we cave in and give her it).

When we went out for a meal with F he didn't eat much of what we were eating, as we had planned to give him bit of our meals, so got a bit grouchy. Luckily we have a couple of pouches of coconut squishes in the bag as he drained both pouches and went from grouchy to happy baby in the time it takes to drain a few pouches. Much to our relief.  This is something, as he can sometimes refuse pouches in favour of our food. Not so with these as he loves these as much as his big sister.

As well as coconut squishes, which are handy to have, we were given some Yummy Wafer Wisp to try. I love these as they are so easy for younger babies to eat but my eldest loves it as well.

For F he can suck on the biscuit and it melts away. Very little mess and he is happy. When he eats these there are few, if any, crumbs left on the carpet unlike many other biscuits he has cried before. My eldest loves them too and just crunches them in seconds before asking, once again, for more.

Now one thing I loved was that I could introduce these to some of our friends at a local parent and toddler group as the snack that is provided can be very unhealthy, especially for those under a year (I have been known to eat F's snack and provide my own for him).

I love that there are so many options to choose from and that each and every of the flavours we have tried have been enjoyed by both children. All too often I can find things that are only suitable for one child but these are adored by both.

I have tried all and have to say the banana Happy Halo Bites are my favourite and are so good for finger foods for small children and exciting treats for older kids!

One of the reasons that is used for the unhealthy snack was shelf life, and all the Heavenly snacks have great shelf lives so are perfect for the toddler group.

I dished out some coconut squishes and wafer wisps of various flavours and they were all devoured by kids ranging from 6 months to 4.5 years. Parents of younger children were particularly impressed with these as it was a new idea for healthy snacks that required no preparation to make. The wafer wisps were a great success. Younger ones ate, with very little mess, and the older children barely left a crumb. I brought more than I thought I would have needed and left with nothing! I think that is a great sign.

Such great flavours and so many different varieties that there is bound to be something for everyone and with easy to transport packages they are a winner for all occasions.

We were given these products in exchange for a review. All thoughts are ours and ours alone.
