Totseat - a baby must-have

There are some products that you are not sure whether you are going to love the item of hate it and I will admit that was just how I felt about the Totseat when I was offered to review it.

I could understand the reasoning behind it but just wasn't sure how much I needed something like this but as soon as I used it for the first time I knew that it was love and something that will be a permanent feature in the change bag when we are going out (whether that is out for food or just out for a wander).

The Totseat is an award winning portable high chair and is recommended for children from 6-30 months (from when they can sit up unaided).

The Totseat comes in two parts, the seat itself and an additional "cummerbund" - a strap that provides additional support if needed.

It is highly adjustable to fit almost any dining chair. You can button up the length for shorter backed chairs, or pull in the back to adjust to thinner chairs.

The fabric is lovely and strong feeling and, importantly, very easy to clean. It comes with a lifetime guarantee which gives you a piece of mind and there is no weight limits when using it.

I found it so simple to use and F (8 months when I first used it) found it so comfortable and got to sit in a dining seat like his bigger sister. The seat comes high up to his chest which provides so much support for him and despite how wriggly he can be when in a seat it has kept him safe and secure.

When out in the garden I have put him into one of our outdoor chairs with ease and he was so happy to get his dinner served in comfort and to watch his sister play, the birds fly and the dogs run. I was delighted about not having to lug the high chair through the house and outside.

This is something that I can see being so useful when we go on holiday to Greece later this year. I know when we went abroad with M when she was a baby that we struggled to get high chairs at times and this means we don't have to worry about that.

In fact a little closer to home and Totseat has found that 82% of "child friendly" restaurants have no more than two high chairs so it is certainly worth putting into any change bag just in case. I can actually see if refusing a highchair when out and just using this as often it can be a bit of a faff to get a high chair to your table. This is much easier and just as effective.

Definitely one of my most favorite baby must-haves!
