Spot at the farm app - a review

We have never really been a family that brings out technology to keep kids entertained so it was a new one for us to test out a new app for kids.

Spot at the Farm, which retails at £2.99 and is available for iOS, is a great wee app for kids to play with, with lots of little games and no extra in game purchases.

Everyone's favourite playful puppy (I know I loved him when I was younger), is at the famr and has lots of things to do. From helping fix Sam's tractor, to colouring in sheep, playing the pig piano and growing carrots to feed to the horse, the game is one that kept my 2 year old entertained and happy for quite some time.

I was surprised how well she managed and she really did enjoy playing with it.

She loved feeding the carrots to the horse, although needed help to grow the seed and water them, and especially loved colouring the sheep. With practise she was working out how to change the colours but found that tricky. Not bad for someone who has barely used an iPhone.

She loved when Spot's friends jumped out from behind the trees and sat quite happily going from scene to scene by herself.

Of course if you love Spot, Spot Goes on Holiday is a great book for any family.

We were given access to the app for free in exchange for a honest review.
