From Babies With Love

Giving a gift to a child is always an exciting time for any parent, family member or friend, and when you can gift an organic toy, which sees all profits being sent around the world to help abandoned children, the gift becomes that little bit more special.

Well that is just what happens when you buy a toy (or clothing) From Babies With Love.

We were sent an organic toy Monkey (which comes with a free carry bag and card) to review recently and I can honestly say that it is unlike any toy F or M have. I will admit at first I had to work out what it was but M instantly recognised it was a monkey, running round the house with the toy and making monkey noises. Now I can only see a monkey.

The design, is digitally printed on GOTS certified soft organic cotton material. It uses such a clever design of postage stamps on a envelope to make it look like a monkey. I may have taken a bit to recognise it but now that I do I find it so clever.  They toys are filled from reconstituted drinks bottles in Scotland (yay! - both Scottish and reducing waste). They come in a number of cute designs so you can get a whole collection going if you want! Don't forget you can also buy matching items as well (blankets, babygrows, cards, t-shirts).

As I said before all profits go to help support orphaned and abandoned babies who live in SOS Children's Villages. These can be children who have lost family through war, famine, disease or poverty. A purchase of a product from From Babies With Love helps to prevent children being left to fend for themselves on the streets.

F has taken to cuddling this at night. He is not a huge toy cuddler. He loves soft toys but they usually end up at the opposite side of the cot then he is at. This, however, is a bit like a cushion so maybe this is why? Certainly he does seem to love it.

I love that it is so different to all the other soft toys he has and it is something that will last for years as it doesn't look too babyish or too grown up.

With Christmas coming up these make a wonderful gift idea, as you not only get a unique gift but you also get to help children less fortunate than us at the same time.
