Tickle Tots - a great wee nappy

We have used cloth nappies for a couple of years and over that time have used a huge variety of cloth nappies, so when we were offered the chance to try out a Tickle Tots cloth nappy I couldn't say no.

We were sent a Tickle Tots 2's' nappy which has the most adorable, and seasonal, design (a huge selling point for me - who wants boring cloth nappies?).

This cloth nappy comprises an waterproof outer shell and is adjustable making it suitable for for newborns to toddlers (9lb-35lb) with its adjustable rise.

As well as the outer layer you get a set of snap in boosters - made of four layers of bamboo fleece with a suede cloth top.  I had never used a booster like this but it easily coped with my son's (13 months) 4.5 hour nap without leaking. It also helped to clear up his nappy rash a bit which, to me, is a great sign of how well it keeps you baby's bum dry. There is also an additional pop in booster to help with additional absorbency if needed (we haven't used it).

The booster is quick drying which is great and you can buy additional boosters so you can swap the booster if baby has not soiled the nappy - just take out the wet booster, wipe outer shell clean with a baby wipe and pop in the new booster.

These Tickle Tots 2's' retail at £17.99 (the outer shell can be used as a cover for other two part nappies - bonus). If you want an booster set, they are on sale for £8.09 on the Tickle Tots website.

What do we love?

The velcro on these nappies are strong. Stronger than many other nappies we have used which is great when your baby starts to learn that they can open their nappies and take them off!

Very absorbent. These lasted over 4 hours of a nap without leaking and without anything other than the main booster.

Poppers to pop the booster into make sure you have the booster in the right place.

Having an outer shell that you can wipe and just change boosters makes them more economical then some other types of nappies.

Double layered leg gussets help keep any leaks in. It certainly helps in this household.

These nappies are so slim. I love a big cloth num but sometimes the bum can just be too big but these are lovely an slim making it so easy to put clothes on top of them.

We were sent an nappy to review in exchange for an honest review. We were not paid for this review and all thoughts and opinions are ours and ours alone.
