In the Night Garden soft toys review

When M was little she had a comforter that she took everywhere, something that F never really showed any interest of but recently he has found a love of all things soft toys related and so when I was given the opportunity to review a couple of new In the Night Garden soft toys I couldn't say no.

Aimed at children aged 0-18 months these toys feature characters from the popular tv programme In the Night Garden.

We were send a Igglepiggle soft toy and a Makka Pakka grabber and I was a wee bit worried that at 17 months old and at the upper end of the age recommendation that F might not like these. How utterly wrong I was!!!

F instantly fell in love with both toys, giving Igglepiggle (RRP £9.99) one of the biggest cuddles I have ever seen. The toy is lovely and soft, a nice size for small hands and includes crinkle material in the hands and feet as well as a rattle in the body.

The rattle is not too loud and F loves to shake it and make a song with it.

Design wise it is great quality with lovely embroidered features on the face.

As well as IgglePiggle the soft toy also comes available in family favourites Upsy Daisy and Makka Pakka.

The Makka Pakka grabber (RRP £4.99) rattles when shaken and again comes in a lovely soft material. F loved the different textures in this and the shape and size of it was perfect for him to grab and play with. He also loves to put this on his mouth (he is teething).

As with the soft toy this is so well designed, great quality and features some great embroidery for the face.

You can also get the grabber in Igglepiggle and Upsy Daisy.

The In The Night Garden Baby range, by Golden Bear, are available now and also include a Baby Blankie (RRP £9.99) available in the much loved Igglepiggle and Upsy Daisy characters and a baby hanging chime toy (RRP £6.99) available in Upsy Daisy and Igglepiggle.

I love these toys, such great quality and so affordable! At 17 months F loves them and I had hoped out newborn would get a shot when he or she arrives in a few weeks time but I think I may have to go out and buy some new ones for the baby as I can not see F giving his toys up to anyone anytime soon!

I was sent these toys for free in exchange for a review. All opinions on these are mine and mine alone.
