2018 - plans for the future

New year, new you. That is all you hear around this time of the year but why do you have to wait until the new year to make a change? That said I am hoping for some big changes in 2018. It will be the first year since 2013 that I will not be pregnant. Such a scary thought, sobering really, but at the same time it is exciting. I can now plan for the future. The first thing I need to to do for this is to finalise my application for UCAS in the hope of becoming a midwife. I can not believe that I finally know what I want to do when I grow up!

This is the year when my biggest baby starts school! I can not believe it. We have the option (as do everyone with a child born January and February) to defer her entry into primary one for another year but we don't feel she needs that and her nursery teachers also confirmed that they think she should definitely go.

We will have our last ever family first birthday when Oscar turns one in June. Last. Time. Ever. No more babies remember. Ahhh.

We plan to return to Lanzarote in the summer for a couple of weeks. M has already been planning her next holiday and is excited already.

It could be the year that F starts nursery (although we are not certain when he will get entry yet so it might not be until 2019).

As for resolutions, well I am not going to have any of those as they are just made to be broken but it is safe to say that I plan to make 2018 the best one yet.

Of course like I say almost everyday I will get fitter and healthier. This isn’t a resolution just a life plan.

If you have Fitbit and looking for a friend let me know and we can conect.
